Corporate Development Council Mission

The Missouri S&T Corporate Development Council is a group of representatives from organizations strategically important to the future of the Missouri University of Science and Technology's success and continual improvement.

What is the Mission of the Corporate Development Council?

To increase the meaningful interaction between corporate representatives (and by extension our companies) and Missouri S&T that leads to a student who is better prepared to join “Corporate America.”

This interaction will lead to a better overall learning environment at Missouri S&T. Interaction between CDC and Missouri S&T will involve:

1) direct interaction with students,
2) direct interaction with faculty/staff, and
3) working on solutions for issues that are facing Missouri S&T.

Each CDC representative agrees to:

1) actively participate in the CDC meetings,
2) work to have their companies participate in one other activity on campus each year (e.g., provide a speaker to a campus organization), and
3) advocate the financial support of Missouri S&T from their respective companies. Each company is asked to contribute $500 annually to cover the cost of the Student Leadership Banquet and other student event expenses.

CDC members work in teams and individually to help Missouri S&T.
