Purpose of OGS

Through engagement and philanthropy, OGS members play a vital role in advancing the university’s mission and enriching the student experience.

The purposes of OGS include:

  • Connecting donors with each other and the university 
  • Cultivating sustained support for Missouri S&T and our students 
  • Encouraging others to “pick up the shillelagh” as OGS members 
  • Recognizing donors for their generosity

Membership Levels

OGS members belong to claghns determined by lifetime giving, which includes annual gifts, endowed gifts, pledges, matching gifts and planned gifts. To join OGS, a donor must have a lifetime giving of at least $25,000 or a one-time gift of $15,000.
